Representation Question

In year 12 I created a Sci-Fi Thriller hybrid film opening called the Ez Life. We used representation to help our audience relate to the meaning. For example at first we had to find out genre conventions. We did this by researching similar films to the one that we wanted to create such as Project X.

Our film opening was non-linear, we used transitions to show a change in time periods. This was so that we could give away more narrative in the opening. This helped us use enigma codes to keep our audience interested. For example we used many different camera angles and shots to keep the opening fast paced and interesting.
